From Lea Michele’s Bike To Lady Gaga’s New Friend: This Week In Instagrams

What caused this birthday cake to go from Karmin’s plate to all over their faces?
“This is a series of two pictures: The first one is of us about to eat the cake and then this is the aftermath,” Karmin’s Nick Noonan told MTV News. “You notice, somehow, my shirt became unbuttoned between two pictures; I don’t remember how that happened.”

Although we don’t know the full story behind these next five Instagrams, they’re the MTV News team’s favorite of the week:
“Glee” star Lea Michele — who recently opened her Instagram account, introduced us to her new bike via the photo-sharing site. The picture rolled its way right into the hearts of her more than 61,000 followers with 14,583 likes and 583 comments and counting.
Also traveling on two wheels this week is Kendall Jenner. Who’s that riding tandem on the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” starlet’s bike? The kid sister of Kim, Khloé and Kourtney claimed the oversized stuffed bear just happens to be her “new boy toy.”
Lady Gaga dropped some big news this week when she uploaded this photograph of her with Kendrick Lamar. In the caption, Mother Monster announced a collaboration between the pair, which is scheduled to drop September 6. The track is from his new album and is titled “PARTYNAUSEOUS.”
Trey Songz is (crowd) surfin’ USA! This particular post comes to you from Detroit and features Songz aboard a hoard of female fans. We’d say watch your hands, ladies, but we’re pretty certain the “Bottoms Up” singer can handle himself in this situation.
After taking Olympic gold, Gabby Douglas is back at home and spending a little quality time with Oprah Winfrey in this Instagram. Winfrey snapped the pic in the gymnast’s backyard in West Des Moines, Iowa, while taping “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” The episode will air this Sunday on OWN.

If you haven’t heard of Cher Lloyd yet, hold on to your seats because she’s about to take the U.S. by storm. She got her start on “The X Factor” U.K. and is currently promoting her single “Want U Back” (which is sitting pretty at #13 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart) in the States.
“I feel like ‘Want U Back’ explains me,’ she told MTV News when visiting nearly 1,000 fans (or, as she likes to call them, “Bratz”) at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York. “I feel like it has a lot of attitude but in a good way, it’s cheeky, I’m quite cheeky and it’s young and it’s fun.”

MTV Jam Of The Week: Meek Mill Ft. Drake – ‘Amen’ Video
00Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 2 cut “Amen” has rubbed one Philly pastor the wrong way, but better believe that’s not holding back the MMG rapper. On Sunday Meek dropped his new video for the single and he made sure that all of his boys got in on the fun. The video begins after hours of partying, but eventually flashes back to debauchery from the previous night with Drake, and also includes footage with his Club Paradise tourmates Waka Flocka, J. Cole and French Montana.
Last week a Philly pastor launched a boycott against “Amen” claiming that the track was blasphemous, but Meek said his peace during a radio interview where he went in on the pastor for being a hypocrite. “This looking like you trying to get famous, or you need some attention, because you could have came to me and said anything you wanted to say,” Meek told him. “I might’ve helped you. If you needed money for your church or whatever I might’ve woulda gave you that money. I might’ve even remixed the song ["Amen"] with Kirk Franklin or anything you wanted to do. You went about it… like you looking for attention and fame.”
